I Am Not Good Enough – Syndrome

I Am Not Enough Syndrome

By Katinda Ndola | Author of upcoming book | The Big Comeback

Why does the voice in the back of your head drive you crazy? The negative self-talk that controls what you do and how you do it. Many a times you believe that you are not good enough, smart enough, skinny enough, beautiful enough and the list just goes on and on.

On a recent facebook live broadcast I asked the beautiful young women in the live broadcast one question.

What are your biggest fears?

Most of them stated they were not good enough and they actually believe that to be true.

This negative self-talk is actually the reason you are not achieving greatness and now is the time to disconnect with it.

First of all you need to start believing in yourself and realising that you are good enough or better you are enough.

Here is a small tip to get you started on your “I Am Enough” feel good journey. Take a lipstick and write on all your mirrors in your house “I Am Enough”.  Say it aloud and make it your mantra.

There are so many times in a day you can actually say “I Am Enough” so no more excuses of I’m busy, I don’t have time or it’s not for people like me. You can say it in the shower because there is nothing else to do apart from running out of soap or the hot water going cold instead of looking at your body and feeling all the negative self talk. You can say it while driving, walking, cooking, brushing your teeth what is your excuse Now?

I am a big believer in that you have everything in you to be enough. You do not need anyone else to complete or validate you. You are your own critic so make sure you say something nice to yourself all the time. Compliment yourself, hug yourself, give yourself a pat on the shoulder and celebrate you.  You are enough.

The I am Enough T-shirts have been made in order to remind you that you are enough.

A $1 from the sale of each item on this site will go to support programs for women whose confidence and self-esteem has been undermined, due to a Relationship Breakdown, A Work Situation Or A Series Of “Things Going Wrong” In Personal Or Family Life.
